FAQ

Questions about fiber D2D sales

Do I need sales experience?

No. A lot of our reps had never knocked a door before this. We teach you the pitch and ride along with you until you can run a door on your own.

Is this a W-2 job?

No. Reps are 1099 independent contractors. You get paid on what you sell, and you handle your own taxes.

What does a fiber door-to-door rep do all day?

You work neighborhoods where fiber just became available. You let people know it’s there, show them what it costs, and get them signed up and scheduled for install.

How do I get paid?

Every deal pays $150 to $350. It’s straight commission, and there’s no cap on how many deals you close.

What’s a blitz?

A blitz is when the team travels to a new fiber market and works it hard for a set stretch of time. There’s always another one coming up. If you’d rather stay home, you can work a local market instead.

Do I pay for housing on blitzes?

We front your housing, so you don’t need money saved up to go. The cost comes out of your commissions.

Where do you work?

All over the country. Tell us where you live and we’ll tell you what’s open near you, or put you on the next blitz.

Which providers will I sell?

AT&T Fiber, Frontier, Verizon Fios, Astound, Surf Internet, Tfiber and some local fiber companies. It depends on the market you’re in.

What are the hours?

On blitzes it’s a 12-hour day with 9 hours on doors, from the 9:00 AM meeting to the 9:00 PM breakdown. We’ll go over local market hours when we talk.

How fast can I start?

Apply and we’ll text or email you, usually within a day or two. Training starts once you’re on.

Want in?
